Start with the decision

A test has a purpose in relation to what you might do next.

Compare possible results

Record what you might observe and the decision or action it would change. Include an inconclusive possibility. These possibilities do not have to be exhaustive to start.

Before any result is known

What does running the test use or change? What could matter for later work?

Keep unresolved questions visible

Leaving an answer blank means it has not been recorded. “Explicitly unknown” means you have considered the question and do not yet know.

Review organizes your answers and suggests questions. It does not establish coverage, measurement quality, authority, or readiness to run a test.
