The browser Test Card and scope-note worksheet help you prepare your own record. They do not send your answers to Reachability Labs.
Test Card and scope note
Answers are held in the current page’s memory. These tools do not use browser storage or background synchronization. Reloading or closing the page can lose unsaved work. A file you choose to reopen is read in your browser.
Copy, print, and download act only when you choose them. Copy puts the reviewed text on your clipboard, where your device’s clipboard features may retain or synchronize it. A download creates a file for you to keep; printing uses your browser and selected printer.
The email link opens your email application with a recipient and subject. It does not include your answers or send a message. You decide what to paste, attach, and send.
Ordinary page requests
This website is hosted through Cloudflare. Loading pages and assets sends normal web requests, including network and browser information, to the hosting provider. Ordinary research pages may also use Cloudflare web analytics to understand page usage. The Test Card and scope-note pages are configured to exclude analytics code. No answer content is included in page addresses or intentionally sent to site analytics.
Research pages and external services
Some research pages load fonts from Google and embed video from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. Following a paper, repository, or other external link opens that provider’s service. Those providers have their own data practices. The Test Card and scope-note pages load their working assets locally and do not embed video, external fonts, or newsletter forms.
Email and subscriptions
Email you choose to send is handled by your email provider and the recipient’s email service. If you use the optional newsletter subscription, the email address you submit goes to Buttondown. Do not include confidential or controlled material in an initial inquiry; agree how to handle records before sharing them.
